Why Quit Now?
It's easier to quit when life is hitting you in the face with bricks, one after the other with no remorse. These kinds of things make people want to stop in the middle of the road, and give up everything they've every dreamed of having. It's the "It's getting to be too hard" or "I can't see the end of the road" attitude that seeps into our minds, begins to change our direction, and causes us to turn away from our purpose. Life will always give us unexpected things, which sometimes are things that bring us heartache.
Take a moment to reflect back on your life, and think about EVERYTHING that you've been through. Remember when you thought you wouldn't get through it with a stable mind? You thought it was the end, and you would lose your life, but you didn't break. Actually, you made it through those hard times without a scratch. You were rejected by your own family, but some how you managed to get through it like a solider. You went through a terrible relationship that made you feel as though your heart would never be able to love again, but somehow you found the courage to give love a try one more time. Life somehow didn't seem to be working out in your favor, but somehow you managed to kick life in the face.
Remember?
Let these memories be the fuel you use to push you further. If you made it through all the other times, then what makes you think you can't make it through again? Your strength is within you, but you have to take a moment to search for it. Remember that life is like one big classroom that we all attend, and God is the teacher, but it's up to us to allow the teacher to give us the tools we need to get through these test. Don't be so quick to give up, and don't be so quick to turn on God.
I believe some of us have made it, because we did one thing.....walk. Some us have walked in the midst of depression, heartache, financial woes, and misery. Some of us didn't even know if we will be able to see tomorrow, but we keep walking anyway. Just keep walking and don't give up!! Find that one reason you shouldn't give up, and grab hold of that one reason with the mindset that you're not giving up until you take your last breath.
IT'S NOT OVER!!! DON'T GIVE UP!!!
